GET READY!!!!

It's been a while since I'd written in my faith site. The Lord has been faithfully doing a work in me. The last few months have really been trying. I'm realizing more and more that there is no new message out there. The only message the Lord wants us to hear and adhere to is to Watch and Pray(Mk.13:33) that we may be counted worthy to escape the things that are coming upon the earth.2 Thess.1:5. When I see those words "counted worthy" it implies that if I were to be counted worthy of anything I would have to do something to get that title. God alone is worthy of praise and so because of that I know that it is He that has to do that work in me. In order for Him to do that work it is up to me to allow Him the lead in all I do. Like John the Baptist said in John 3:30 "He must increase but I must decrease." He has to be in charge. He has to be in the forefront. He has to be first. Nothing else should have preeminence in our lives. He is to have the preeminence. Col.1:18. He is to be our first and last love. Whenever I get in these moods where I just want to do it all and in my way then I find that the Peace of Christ is not there. So many times we find ourselves walking in circles. We wake up in the morning struggling with our minds because we have been bogged down with things in our lives that we've held on to and not given over to Him. There's only one answer and that is to call on the name of the Lord and believe that our lives are in His hands and nothing else can or will give us perfect Peace. It's true. This week I've been bogged down with so many problems not just mine but others too. I began to pray for each one and that was when I heard Him speak to me. He told me that all these things that seem so big aren't really that big and that soon, very soon none of that is going to matter anyhow. He told me that there's a change coming in this world that will affect the lives of every one of us. The things we want to do, the places we want to go, the material possessions we want to attain all those things won't matter. Those of us who know Christ must know that the time is near. Read Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39. Get ready for that day of the Lord. Don't be caught up in religion but be caught up with Christ. Look to Israel.Lk.21:20. He told us that. Look at the changing weather patterns. Call it global warming or cooling or whatever you want. God is in charge and it is He that governs those things. He's telling us to get ready. Scripture says that in the last days they'll be calling bad good and good bad. It's happening right now. Wake up people!! Don't compromise the Word of God. Be ready. Be as the wise virgins.Mt. 25:1-13. By calling on His name, O Lord Jesus!!! Acts 2:21. By walking in His will. By laying aside your wants and your wishes to do His work which is simply dying to self and walking in His will then your lamp will be filled. Don't hold on to anything in this life hold on to Jesus Christ.Lk.17:28-36. This is not the time for building mega churches. This is the time to be Kingdom people. Remember His prayer in Mt.6:10 "Thy Kingdom come Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven." Pray for His Kingdom to come. O come quickly Lord Jesus.
