Brothers and Sisters:

May the Lord bless you and give you revelation as you read this. He is coming and we must be ready.

Romans 10:17, “So faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” I sense deeply that I need to write to you this message on the importance of faith. Today too many Christians do not understand how important faith is. Hebrews 11: 6 tells us “without faith we cannot be well pleasing to God.” That means that anything done “for God” that is not done through faith is not acceptable to Him. This is why faith is so important. All that God has provided for man is given through faith. Faith is so important to God that He will not give anything to man except through faith. Why is it that so many Christians seem to be quite obedient and willing to do good, yet they do not receive much from God? It is because they fail to see that in God’s way of redemption there are four essential things.
(1) The work of Christ: The first step is to have Christ’s accomplished redemption for us through His death and resurrection He finished this work for us on the cross once for all.
(2) The word of God: Through His word God tells us what He has done for us. The word of God spreads the news of His accomplished work in Christ.
(3) Believing God’s word: What we believe is the word of God, not the work of Christ. Christ’s work has satisfied the heart of God. Through His work Christ accomplished God’s purpose. What we trust in is the work of Christ, but we believe in the word of God. Without the word of God we cannot place our trust in the work of Christ. Without God’s word we could have no knowledge of Christ’s work for it is His word that declares Christ’s work to us. So believing God’s word is trusting in the work of Christ.
(4) The Holy Spirit working into the believer the finished work of Christ: When the Bible speaks of the Holy Spirit, it puts special emphasis on the communion of the Holy Spirit because it is the Spirit that imparts into the believer the finished work of Christ as well as leading us into the truth of God’s word. Truth is reality, that is, spiritual reality. The Bible concept of truth is twofold: (1) Truth points to Christ and His finished work for Jesus said in John 14:6 “ I am the truth.” (2) Truth points to the word of God, because Jesus said in John 17:17 “ thy word is truth.” The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth. It is the Spirit that brings us into Christ and all that Christ has done for us. It is also the Spirit that makes God’s word real in our lives. Since this is God’s way of redemption, no one can receive anything without faith. Faith is simply believing the word of God. It is the most difficult thing in the world to do and yet it is the easiest thing in the world to do. The work of Christ is real it is true it was finished on the cross over 2000 years ago and yet the whole world will still perish without the word of God being presented to them. The word of God is true even if circumstances are all against you; remember God’s word remains true. When you have a problem with anything in your life, your prayers will be in vain if you do not believe the word of God. You have not because you ask not, James 4:2. You pray and you don’t receive because you don’t believe the word of God. I know this is a hard saying but it is a waste of time to pray without believing the word of God. In order to receive anything from God one thing is necessary, that is, you must lay hold of God’s word. You believe and God performs. Before you go to prayer, you must ask God to give you a word. With God’s word you can break through any problem you face. When you have God’s word in this way you have the sword of the Spirit and with His word you can defeat the enemy in all things Eph 6:17. When we have the word of God we have an inexhaustible source of supply. The ravens will supply your needs, the brook will supply your needs, even the widow’s handful of meal will supply you 1 Kings 17. And if they don’t God will open the window of heaven and give you supplies from above. This is faith. The work of Christ is finished, and God’s word declares it. I believe it, so I have everything Christ has accomplished for me Praise the Lord! Believe in what God’s word says; trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross. If you do then the Holy Spirit will lead you into the reality of all that Christ has accomplished for you. The work of Christ is finished and the word of God is given, but the Holy Spirit cannot give to you what Christ has accomplished for you if you don’t believe. Why is it that we read what God has done for us and understood what God has accomplished in Christ yet we still don’t live in the reality and possess what He has done for us? It is because we don’t believe the word of God. We may say we believe yet we do not receive why? It is because in fact we have not believed if we had believed the Holy Spirit would have been responsible to translate our belief into reality. Knowing is not enough, faith must be added to knowledge. “Faith is the substantiation of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1.

My responsibility has been to write this message and I believe I have released the Lord’s burden. It is well that you believe. May the Lord work in us, causing us to believe His word as it is written.

Pray for me as the Lord has burdened me to write something about how we can prepare for rapture as the time is at hand. I don’t know if I have the words to express what the Lord has put into my heart. Pray that the Lord will open my heart and release His word in a clear and proper way. How I need His grace and revelation to release this burden. The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. He is coming!

Your brother in Christ
